How do I connect Gamecaster to Twitch?
Streaming to Twitch is as simple as logging in to your Twitch account, no stream keys necessary!
When you launch Gamecaster for the first time, it will ask you to connect to one of the three main streaming platforms: Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube:
Click on Connect with Twitch to get started. This will open a new window in your web browser where you can grant access to Gamecaster to fetch necessary information from your Twitch account.
There's no need to do anything here except take note of the permissions Gamecaster is using (we promise not to harm your channel!) and then click on Authorize to allow Gamecaster to start streaming to Twitch.
You can double-check to make sure everything is connected on the Twitch side at https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections:
As well as within Gamecaster itself in Settings > Platforms:
To disconnect your Twitch account, simply click on the X from this screen, after which we will remove your information from your Gamecaster account after three (3) days.
