Introducing the Gamecaster Pro License

A year ago we set out on our own to make Gamecaster the best and easiest app for going live to Twitch, YouTube and Facebook, and to help content creators on their journey to grow and be discovered.
We are planning some changes to the Gamecaster experience, but we want your feedback to understand if we’re on the right path, before we roll them out. There’s a link to a survey at the end of the email, and we would be eternally grateful if you could take the time to fill it out and let us know your thoughts and opinions on the planned changes.
Gamecaster started out as a project inside XSplit. A year ago, I and the Gamecaster team decided to split out from XSplit and to make Gamecaster its own product and company, independently from XSplit.
We have kept Gamecaster free, hoping that a great free content creation app combined with a superior user experience would help us to grow fast and attract tons of new users.
Though we have enjoyed and are immensely grateful for all the great feedback and the support we have received from our growing community, we have unfortunately not been able to grow fast enough for the completely free model to be sustainable as we had hoped.
We have tons of new improvements and features on the roadmap that we want to develop to make the Gamecaster experience constantly greater, but we unfortunately also have bills to pay and devs to feed to make that a reality.
That’s why we’re planning to introduce a Pro subscription for Gamecaster in October.
We’ve tried to balance things as much as possible to keep the best experience for free users, while primarily introducing value-added features to the Pro subscription. But we want to make sure we’re on the right track before we roll it out, and we would love to hear your feedback and thoughts in the survey and in our Discord.
The only limitation that is planned to be introduced for free users is an always-on resizable and repositionable “Powered by Gamecaster” watermark, similar to the widget you can currently add to earn Season Pass rewards, which can be turned off if you’re a Pro subscriber.
Pro subscribers will earn 3 times the Gamecaster Gold from rewards compared to free users, which can be spent on Premium Alerts, Stingers, panels and more to come.
Pro subscribers will be featured in the Discovery platform and will have more opportunities to be watched and discovered by other Gamecaster users.
Pro subscribers will instantly get access to all overlays in the Vault, without needing to spend Gold on the Premium overlays
Pro subscribers will be given access to exclusive Discord channels with a more direct line to the team to let us know what you want to see on the roadmap ahead and to let us know if you encounter any issues.
Help us to grow and share the benefits. Pro subscribers who refer new users to Gamecaster that upgrade to Pro or spend money on Gold, will get 50% of all one-time or recurring payments from your referrals, paid out to your PayPal account.
Introductory price will be 3.95 USD per month or 29.95 USD per year.
We want to continually develop our roadmap based on what our community most wants from Gamecaster in the future, but these are the big new features that we have next in our pipeline.

Capture your mobile gameplay from your phone or tablet and send it straight to Gamecaster to stream, record and clip with all the transitions, overlays and alerts that you know and love.
We want to continue making Gamecaster the best it can be and constantly give you great new features and improvements that will make your experience even better, and we hope that you will support us to continue making this a reality.
