What settings should I be using for streaming?

Gamecaster comes with a unique feature of automatically taking care of your streaming settings so you can broadcast your gameplay as quickly and as easily as possible. But we also offer the option for users to tweak their settings to best fit their computer and internet speed.

Enabling Settings > Streaming > Custom opens up Gamecaster's advanced streaming options, which you can then tweak to best fit the platform and quality you'd like to stream at. We recommend aiming for a smooth stream at 720p @60fps with a bitrate of around 4500-5000 kbps, but for best results, see the recommended settings from our partner platforms at the links below:
